Requirements

  • English: Native level (preferred)
  • Must currently reside in Japan
  • - Must have a university degree (preferably in English, Linguistics, or TESOL).
  • - EFL teaching experience in or outside of Japan (preferably 2+ years).
  • - Intermediate Japanese language ability (preferred but not required).
  • - Ability to teach a wide array of learners from beginner to advanced on various subjects including daily conversation, grammar, academic English, business, etc.
  • - Must be able to work professionally and cohesively with others.

Description

Learning Studio Azamino is currently seeking a qualified, experienced, and professional English language instructor, starting January, 2020.

Learning Studio Azamino is a privately-owned institution, established in 2007, with a single branch located near Azamino Station on the Tokyu Denentoshi Line. Azamino st. is about 25 minutes from Shibuya st. by express train in Kanagawa Prefecture.

Our school offers classes in English, French, Italian, Korean, and Chinese. Classes are generally one to one with some opportunities to teach semi-private lessons with two or three students per class. Each English class is 40min. long but sometimes 80 min. as some students prefer. Student demographics are wide-ranged from young to adult learners.


Salary and Benefits:

- Competitive salary ¥100,000-¥120,000-
(negotiable, based on qualifications and experience).
- Weekends Saturday 9:00-19:30 Sunday 9:00-18:00
-Competitive paid vacation days in the summer, winter, and GW(from the end of April)
--all together four weeks paid vacation.
- Monthly transportation reimbursement
