Saturday School Teacher Assistant（期限切れ）

Description:

As part of the Saturday Morning Program Team, the Teacher Assistant supports the Teacher in all aspects of course preparation and delivery related to classroom teaching and associated duties.


Overarching Responsibilities:

As a member of Saturday Morning Teaching Team, the Teacher Assistant:
1. supports the Teacher in delivering the Program in terms of our Mission, Vision, and Strategic Plan
2. endorses and models the School’s core values, educational objectives, and standards
3. maintains positive and constructive working relationships with all school community members
4. has responsibility for the welfare and satisfaction of students under their care in the Program
5. supports her/his line manager in regard to operations and administration of the Program
6. ensures regular, sustained, meaningful communication through timely sharing of information and concerns
7. maintains all documentation and communication through the designated platforms
8. follows all expectations and guidelines as established in published handbooks and policies
9. attends to scheduled duties and other tasks when requested by the Teacher
10. participates in initiatives that benefit the students, class, and the Program


Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

1. appropriate qualification and/or experience is an advantage
2. effective communication skills
3. capacity to solve problems in collaboration with others
4. capacity to respond to student needs in a timely, flexible, and empathetic manner
5. experience in working in international schools is an advantage
6. the capacity to deal with conflict in a calm, positive, and solution focused manner
7. the capacity to work effectively in a team
8. competent in Japanese is an advantage


Position: Teacher Assistant

Shift: Saturdays, 8:30-12:30

Salary:
¥1500/hr
