International Preschool Full Time Teacher (Saitama-Shintoshin) (expired)

An international kindergarten/preschool in Saitama Shintoshin is seeking a full time ESL/early childhood education teacher.
Position will become available on April 1st, 2023.

Our mission is to create a learning environment where children can develop excellent English skills and their confidence, through various learning activities and warm interactions with our educators and peers.

Successful candidate should ;

* be able to create lesson plans in the aim of accomplishing learning goals in the curriculum
* have learned to love him/herself knowing the strengths and weaknesses and truly appreciate the life
* be able to have a lot of fun with kids and be able to lead the class in a purposeful way
* understand that the children are ESL students and one of their main goals is to acquire English language skills
* feel comfortable working in an international environment (half the staff are Japanese, half are teachers from English speaking countries)
* have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues
* be eager to improve and grow as an ESL/early childhood education teacher
* genuinely LOVE to make a difference in people lives by being their first BIG positive influence - a kindergarten teacher

Requirements are;
* university degree
* at least two years experience of teaching at preschool/kindergarten
* native speaker of English
* committed, passionate, and team player
* valid working visa

This is a contract job (renewable depending on performance and school needs).
Working hours are 8:30-17:30 or 9:30-18:30 with 1 hour break, Monday-Friday.
1 week of GW, 2 weeks of summer, and 2 weeks of winter vacation (all paid).
Bonus provided once a year (depending on business performance)
Some Saturdays are designated as work days due to school annual events (like sports day, Halloween, etc).
