English conversation instructor (expired)

Merry England is a little different from your average school and we aim to keep it that way. We have a great working environment, great students and great staff. We are looking for a teacher to join our team as a full-time instructor.

We teach from our original curriculum, which includes lots of Phonics, TPR, role play and a whole heap of fun.

Our teaching style requires flexibility so you must be able to think for yourself and be resourceful.

The successful applicant would be involved in teaching English conversation to
Students aged 3 up (including adults) in classes ranging in size from one to groups of 10. The teachers would be working a basic forty-hour week with approximately 30 teaching hours.

Regular hours are 2 pm to 10 pm Tuesday through Friday and 10 am to 7 pm Saturday.
Some morning shift work will be necessary.

You must be a native speaker with a relevant bachelor's degree (or higher).
Experience and Japanese language abilities are a definite plus.

The contract is for one year (renewable) and visa sponsorship is available.
The position is available from May 2023.
