Description

At Daizawa International School we facilitate a fun, creative, energetic, and positive educational environment for children. Our school uses a Reggio-Emilia based approach, focused on the individual child, giving them many outlets to grow in a variety of ways.

We are currently looking for a lead teacher to take over our Saturday School program. Candidates should have leadership experience and strong team-teaching skills.

Students in our Saturday School program are 3 to 6 years old. The curriculum for the Saturday program focuses on a mix of ESL/EFL, country-themed activities and group projects.

Typical Saturday School teacher hours are Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00-18:00, with weekdays focused assistance to the weekday classes and after-school program, and preparation for Saturday School.

Saturday School Teacher Qualifications:
Must be fluent in English (spoken and written)
2+ years teaching experience (EFL or ESL)
Bachelor’s Degree (or higher)
All teachers must complete a two month paid training period upon initial hiring
