説明

>>Come Teach In Beautiful Kansai!<<
Now more than ever it's time to start thinking about the future. Where will you be in several months, or in another year? If you're looking for opportunity elsewhere in the world, teaching English abroad is a great way to get out, make a difference, and build the bridges that we all need more than ever right now.

For over 20 years, Borderlink has been one of the premier employers of Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) across Japan, and we're only continuing to grow and improve with each passing year. We've expanded west, and we're looking to continue growing a strong roster of teachers throughout the Kansai region of Japan. Once the seat of power in ancient times, today Kansai is known for its charm, friendly atmosphere and exquisite cuisine. Enjoy the excitement and culture of grand cities such as Osaka and Kyoto! It's a wonderful place to live and work, and it's just waiting for you!

We have begun recruiting for positions starting from September 2020 and spring 2021. Whether you're in Japan or living abroad, this opportunity is open to all, and we encourage you to apply early to secure work for the coming months.

>>Being an ALT<<
Our ALTs work in public elementary and junior high schools, teaching alongside Japanese teachers. Working in public education allows you to build long-term relationships with your students and fellow co-teachers, get involved with your school's extra-curricular programs and local community, and experience a different side of Japan altogether. It's not just a fulfilling job, it's also great life experience that will benefit you for the rest of your life.

>>What Does It Take?<<
We're looking for highly motivated, outgoing, and personable individuals who can commit to the full academic year- it takes time to foster relationships with fellow teachers and students, and we owe it to them to provide a stable and enjoyable learning environment. Please remember that when you sign on to be an ALT, it is more than just signing a contract. It's making a promise, and embarking on a journey- be sure you're ready and willing to see it through to the end.

In addition to the requirements stated at the top of this ad, successful applicants should have strong verbal and written communication skills, be in good health, and be an excellent team player. Japanese isn't required but is highly desired by many schools, so knowledge of the language or a willingness to learn is encouraged.

>>Accommodations and Benefits<<
For those joining us from overseas, we offer extra support with arranging housing to make the process of getting settled in as streamlined as possible! Finding and renting an apartment can be one of the biggest hurdles when living abroad, but with many years of experience, we are able to make the process as simple and reasonable for you as can be! We also offer help with setting up a bank account, hassle-free visa support, and round-the-clock assistance so you can live and work comfortably!

Other benefits of being an ALT with Borderlink include:

● No teaching experience? No problem! We provide initial training, seasonal training, as well as on-the-job training, to ensure that you are ready and have all the tools necessary to succeed in the classroom
● Access to teaching materials and our library of educational resources (worksheets, flashcards, etc.)
● Work regular school hours (usually between 8 AM to 5 PM) and enjoy free evenings, weekends and national holidays, plus school vacation periods.
● Free monthly consultation from your fellow ALTs with the area facilitator program
● A yearly calendar that allows you to plan your schedule in advance
● Paid holidays (as stipulated by the contract)
● Our annual contracts are renewable, and we welcome back those who remain in good standing with their schools and forge strong relationships with the administration team/office
● Potential career growth opportunities for veteran ALTs, such as becoming an area facilitator or joining our administrative team

You can enjoy a work-life balance that lets you grow professionally, while also having the time to explore and enjoy Japan and its culture. And when it comes to the job, if you're willing to learn and are open to new experiences, we can and want to help you! The schools and students we work with want the best, and we'll make sure you are the best!

>>So What's Next? Apply Today!<<
Does this sound like the opportunity you've been seeking? Then what are you waiting for? Get on the road towards an exciting new future! Take that first step and apply today! Thank you for your interest in Borderlink. Let's believe in your possibility together!

*Please note that as we receive a high number of applicants, only those who pass the initial screening will be contacted for an interview.
