Fuji English School is currently accepting applications for one full-time position that starts in April 2023. The contract starts on April 1st, however, we need the successful applicant to begin from the middle of March for initial training and orientation. We are looking for someone who is energetic, reliable, pleasant, a team player, passionate about teaching, eager to learn new ways of teaching, open-minded, and really loves teaching children as well as adults.
We teach English conversation to people of all ages. We teach children using a special program called "PLS system" (Pacific Language School system), which uses flash cards and listening homework activities.
The system emphasizes oral as well as aural communication skills through games and activities that are both fun and educational.
We currently have 4 foreign teachers and 4 Japanese staff who can speak English. Fuji English School has 4 locations in Suzuka and Tsu. Each city has a population of between 190,000 and 270,000.
These countryside cities in Mie prefecture are surrounded by beautiful nature with easy access to big cities such as Nagoya, Osaka, and Kyoto. Also, living in the countryside has the advantage of saving money. If you love teaching children and enjoy a relaxed lifestyle, this is the place for you.
Terms of Employment
・Position: Full-time English Instructor
・General working hours: 7 hours per day, 5 days a week
・Salary: 220,000 yen/month〜
・Contract: 2-year renewable contract
・Qualification: Native level of English, Bachelor's degree or higher
・Preference: Experience is preferred, but not required
・Holidays: Spring, Summer, and Winter vacation
