【Tokyo】Math/Science/English Teacher for Children - Visa sponsorship available!! (expired)

We are urgently looking for a full-time English teacher with Science and Math background at Marie School to teach Math, Science, Reading and Writing in English to children between 4 yrs old to 13 yrs old. The English levels are varied from basic to fluent.

Marie School has a unique and original method to teach English through Math and Science to keep children's focus while learning English because we all love experiments and playing with numbers, don't we? We also teach basic English skills such as reading, writing and conversation. Each class has only about 4 children because we would like it keep it small so that we can pay attention to every student in the class. Moreover, we also provide private lessons for those who has specific needs (TOEFL, SSAT/SAT, Eiken, or Math..etc)

【Position】
- Math/Science/English Teacher

【Work schedule】
- Mon-Fri: 10:15am - 7:15pm (8 hours, break 60 mins)
- Sat/Sun: 9:00am - 4:30pm (6.75 hours, break 45 mins)

【Holiday】
- One day off during weekdays, and one day off during weekends (can take 2 consecutive days off)
- Other holidays: Company holidays, paid leave
- Paid Leave: Yes - Given according to labor standard law (after probationary period)

【Class Schedule (regular class)】
- Mon-Fri: 3:00pm - 6:30pm*
- Sat/Sun: 9:30am - 3:30pm*
*Schedules may vary depend on numbers of classes each day
*Seasonal programs have different schedules

【Essential Duties】
- Attend teachers' meeting
- Create lesson plans
- Prepare materials for lessons
- Greet students and parents
- Teach classes on 4 days in weekdays and 1 day in weekends
- Record feedback for each student
- Monitor students progress
- Clean up

【Job Requirements】
[Qualifications]
- Native level of English
- Love and care for children and passion for teaching
- Bachelor Degree or higher
- Any teaching experiences at least 2 years

[Welcomed conditions]
- Bachelor degree in Science or Master degree in Science
- English teaching experiences to non-native speakers

【Salary】
- Monthly: JPY 250K - JPY 400K
*Starting salary: 250,000 Yen/month & transportation fee is fully covered
*Salary is negotiable based on experience and expertise

【Company Info】
We have about 10 teachers working at Marie School both Azabu and Mejiro. The workplace is relaxed, friendly, and full of teamwork including the management. The management can speak English fluently and is open to talk about everything.
Students and teachers are very close and we have lots of time to communicate with them. The key is how much fun we can have together while teaching English effectively using our method.
