Description

外国人 タクシー ドライバー

Taxis in Japan are known for their impeccable service. The growing influx of overseas tourism has created new demands.
With excellent public transportation in Japan, taxis are primarily used by affluent people, such as business people, retirees, and especially tourists.

Hinomaru Kotsu is one of the best-established taxi companies in Japan.
Proud of their progressive training curriculum for drivers, employee support systems, emphasis on diversity and company culture, and upward career growth for promising individuals that accept the special “seishain” (permanent employee) status that is coveted in Japan.
Hinomaru Kotsu is a company where nearly every employee began as a driver.
As a permanent "seisain" employee, your job security is ensured, and work is available even into an advanced age.

Having pro-actively hired Bilingual Foreigners for over a year, Hinomaru Kotsu now has a team of over 30 foreign drivers working as part of their company.
Their goal is to hire many more over the next 3-5 years.

Taxi driving is great-paying work for people who love to control their own schedule, potential income, enjoy extended holidays, meeting new people, or also working alone.
You will receive at least 4 weeks of paid training in local geography, work systems, a special driver’s license (with test in Japanese), along with on-the-road training with an instructor.

*Work Hours*
Because shifts are very long (480-minutes), safety policy requires you work only half-a-week. For one day of work, there is one or two days of time-off to follow.
3 to 4 day weekends are common, and at your discretion.
During shifts, 180-minute breaks are also required.
But Driver’s have freedom for additional breaks or to control work hours and income.

*Salary*
Annual income for Drivers can exceed 7,800,000 yen!
Foreign employee’s currently average over ¥450,000 for monthly salary!!
-¥12,000 is even paid daily during the 4 week training period. (¥300,000)
-After deployment, earn commission above this ¥300,000 monthly base salary.

*Holidays*
233 days off a year! (That’s more days off than working!)
Only 11-12 shifts per month.
Take two consecutive days off per week.
Take four consecutive days off up to twice a month!
Taking 30-days of consecutive vacation to travel and visit family is also possible!

*Requirements*
JLPT N3 or equivalent Japanese ability is required.
In order to be a taxi driver in Tokyo:
· Type II Driver's License Examination
· Geography · Legal Examinations
(carried out only in Japanese.)

*Special Preference*
Bilingual candidates familiar with Japan:
・Having graduated / studied at a Japanese University.
・Possessing JLPT N1 certification, or a BJT score of 480 or more.

Those without JLPT or BJT certification will be required to take a Japanese language exam in the interview. In addition to the interview, a simple driving test is also required.

Join this respected company which is embracing the future diversity of Japan and placing value on your skills and potential. Become a “seishain” employee and grow your career, even into different roles, within the ever-evolving industry of personal transportation.
