Qualified candidate should have design or construction BIM skills and experience. The position is responsible for providing technical BIM support and up-front design optimization for large international commercial construction projects. This position is based in Japan and while Japanese language skills are appreciated they are not required.
Qualifications required:
3-5 years’ experience in Building Information Modeling work with an emphasis on commercial and residential building projects.
On-site construction equipment knowledge
Experience with multi-discipline engineering design and construction projects
Experience with integrated modeling throughout building facilities
Strong 2D/3D skills (especially T-fas, AutoCAD, and Revit)
Utilize BIM tools for both large scale/conceptual level and detail/task level problems and participate in constructability reviews and evaluations
Knowledge of construction standards, implementation, and guidance
Able to work on own initiative, while contributing to, and learning from team members
Able to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
