AutoCAD Engineer (Filipino Native) (expired)

Essential Function & Responsibilities:
We are currently looking for a CAD Drafter.
• Analyze architectural drawings in regard to window treatment requirements.
• Design and produce detailed drawings of window treatment installations and interaction with other building elements.
Education - Experience - Certifications - Licenses - Registration Requirements:
• The ideal applicant will have 2 + years’ experience in Architectural or Structural Drafting and Design.
• Good Excel Spreadsheet skills and experience with 3D drafting (Google Sketch Up).
• Able to work independently as well as in a small team.
• Able to adjust to changing priorities.
• Able to work to tight deadlines.
• Have good communication skills.
Required Competencies - Computer Skills - Other:
• Expert level in AutoCAD R2012 preferable.
• Strong blueprint/architectural drawing reading skills required.
• Experience in using BIM would be an advantage.

• Must have: AutoCAD Software experience, detail orientation, dependable, communications skills.
• Bonus skills: mathematical orientation, Excel knowledge, MS office literate.
• Must have at least one year of experience. New tech school graduate could work for this position.



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2 years of experience using CAD software to model and detail components, assemblies, and generate Bills of Material
• Must have the ability to work from sketches, concepts, quotes and verbal information provided by customers, designers and engineers to create detailed layout drawings, assembly drawings, manufacturing detail drawings, and bill of materials
• Must be able to work closely with, and under the direction of other designers and drafters
• Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Must have strong mathematical skills, be detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task, and be able to complete tasks quickly, efficiently, and accurately
• Must be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels in the organization
• Must have strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills
• Must exhibit a strong work ethic
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS CONSIDERATIONS:
• Associate’s degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field, plus at least three years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
• 1 – 2 years’ experience with SolidWorks 3D a PLUS
• Experience in producing drawings in accordance with ANSI Y14.5M specifications
• Knowledge and understanding of standard sheet metal fabricating practices used in a CNC sheet metal manufacturing operation.
