Customer Service, Content Creation, and Content Management Specialist

Get in on the ground floor with a VC funded startup and an established e-commerce business in Kyoto. Opportunity to build a range of new skills in a growing, dynamic business.

Main Responsibilities:

Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
Identify customer pain points and develop strategies to resolve concerns
Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
Go the extra mile to provide a consistent experience across all customer service channels ensuring a timely resolution of issues and concerns
Create and maintain content on websites, ensure all content is relevant and up-to-date

Position Requirements:

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to collaborate well with a diverse team
To assist with tasks throughout the organization as needs demand
Learn new and regularly improve existing skills
Ability to quickly adapt to new software and applications

Higher priority is given to candidates with:

Customer service experience
Creative writing experience
SaaS (Software as a service) experience
SaaS help desk experience
Experience in community management
Experience with international shipping
Written and spoken Japanese
Written and spoken French


Bonus Skills:

Content management system experience
Web design / Graphic Design, HTML, CSS
Content development experience for Youtube, or social media
Online Marketing

Education:
A university-level degree or relevant work experience

Working Hours:
9 am – 6 pm Monday - Friday
