Upon completing training, drivers start at ¥350,000 per month plus commissions and tips. Most operators earn between ¥450,000 and ¥600,000 a month. Exceptional chauffeurs can earn much more.
Tokyo MK drivers are expected:
to pick up clients according to schedule as set by the dispatcher.
to pay extreme care and attention to client needs.
to comply with a strict company work culture.
to be comfortable driving Alphard, BMW, Hiace, Lexus, Mercedes Benz, Toyota Crown and other luxury cars.
to have three-years experience driving in Japan.
Tokyo MK provides a two-week to one-month paid training period (¥10,000 daily) to learn its systems and receive the Type 2 driver's license necessary for this job. Note: A signing bonus is available for those applicants who already possess a Type 2 driver’s license.
