[Company Information]
A fresh new subsidiary of an over 35-year-old, well-established travel company.
Our 3 main products are price comparison websites:
for intercity buses, Kosoku Bus
for rental cars, web-rentacar.com
for tours and activites, Tabiplusone
In addition, we handle region-specific informational website curation, various social media accounts, and tour development.
We have offices in Osaka, Tokyo, and Hokkaido. Currently, we are searching for a part-time translator for our Osaka office.

After launching our booking websites in 4 languages in addition to Japanese, we created the inbound team this April in order to help strengthen our foreign-facing content and customer service.
Currently, we employ 7 foreign part-time workers from a variety of different countries - including them, our Osaka office is home to about 50 employees.
As a relatively new company, we have a laid-back, friendly atmosphere.

[Job Summary]
This position focuses on Japanese to English translation.
In addition, part-time workers may be asked to offer comments from a foreign perspective on various things, ex. website layout.

[Job Responsibilites]
Translation of intercity bus, rental car, and tour plans
Translation of messages or articles to be posted on social media
Translation of emails between Japanese and English
Use of the internet for market research

[Requirements]
Japanese Level Proficiency Test N2 or higher
* No translating experience necessary - first time translators welcome. This is the first translation job for several of our part-time workers.

[Location]
Our Osaka office is conveniently located in Nakatsu, approximately a 15 minute walk from Hankyu Umeda station.
It is only a 1 minute walk from the nearest Midosuji line subway station.

[Working Hours]
Minimum of 3 days per week
Must work a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 10:00am-7:00pm each working day
(1 hour break for shifts 7 hours or longer)
