nVision Global is currently interviewing individuals for Customer Service positions in Japan for our APAC Regional Customer Service.

An individual in the customer service role is responsible for developing and maintaining regular communications with customers in the APAC Region and providing daily customer service support. Basic understanding of common terms and documents used in the transportation of goods from one company to another would be helpful but not required.

nVision Global Technology Solutions, Inc. is an Atlanta-based global organization that provides Freight Invoice Audit & Payment services as well as Transportation / Logistics Management Services and Solutions to worldwide customers. With locations around the world, our staff processes, validates the accuracy of and pays freight invoices from more than 190 countries in multiple currencies.

Our core services are related to freight invoices, loss and damage cargo claims, transportation spend analytics and associated benchmarking activities. In addition we provide technology and services solutions encompassing most supply chain activities.

Our customers are regional and global in nature they manufacture and distribute their products to their customers all over the world. The nVision Global Team is a part of our customers back office and their transportation / logistics department.

Individuals in the customer service role will be required to learn common transportation terms. They will gain experience in reviewing and understanding documents used for the transportation of goods around the world via all modes of transportation.

You will be taught how to read and interpret various types of pricing contracts, rate cards and tariffs. You will be taught how to use this knowledge to validate the charges submitted on freight invoices.


Summary of Responsibilities:

Proactive and weekly communication with customers and clients via telephone and
e-mail

Provide timely responses to customer questions and issues

Analyse and rectify customer concerns using established procedures

Addressing and attending to specific customer’s need

Coordinate with other departments as necessary to resolve inquiries

Provide support to Operations and Implementations Team

Verify and auditing freight billings from Transportation Providers that were assigned

Work with Regional and Global Customer Service Managers

Work with Global Audit Manager and Auditors around all other offices

Any other added work task, comprehensive training will be provided


Qualifications for the position:

Experience in transportation industry and freight bill processing desired

Experience within transportation, logistics, Supply Chain or accounting is beneficial but not required

Experience in office management or administrative experience desired

It is desired to have individuals with customer service experience in the transportation industry but it is not required

Candidate must be professional, positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team

High school diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience with Microsoft SQL desired

Experience with database tables and large datasets desired

Computer proficiency in MS Office applications required

Strong attention to detail

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Skilled / Experience in creative problem solving and conflict resolution

Works collaboratively within a team

Must be self-motivated and work well in a fast-paced environment
Work requires continual attention to detail

Effective multitasking ability, juggle multiple competing task and demands



Language skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Strong verbal and written communication skills in Japanese

Any other additional language skills such as Korean or Mandarin or Cantonese or other languages will be an added advantage
