JOB DESCRIPTION
・Jp/En translation of office actions, amendments, patent claims/specification, and expert counsel.
・Editing and drafting of outgoing English correspondence for patents, trademarks, utility models, and copyrights.
・Communication as main liaison with various corporations in partnership with the firm.
・Jp/En interpretation at company events, conferences, and seminars. (Less frequent)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
・University degree (Bachelor degree or higher)
・Native English proficiency
・Excellent Japanese proficiency (JLPT grade N2 or equivalent)
・Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS
・In-house experience in Japan as a translator or paralegal
・Translation and/or paralegal certification
・An educational background in science

WORKING CONDITIONS
・Starting Date: Late August/early September 2019
・Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-17:00PM (1 hour lunch)
・Overtime: Not required
・Other benefits: Full social insurance, visa sponsorship, paid vacation days.
