What we require:

• Native English speakers
• Possess a minimum 12 years of education where English is the primary language
• Minimum of Bachelor Degree
• Professional, polite, and flexible attitude
• Ability to commit to a 1-year contract
• Teaching experience is not necessary, but will be looked upon favorably
• Basic Japanese or willingness to learn

What is an ALT?

ALTs by their very name are an assistant to the Japanese teacher in the classroom. At RCS, we focus on team teaching. Our ALTs don’t have the pressure of being the T1, so you can really enjoy your job and build great relationships within your school community.

About the position:

Miyashiro is a town located in Saitama, north of Tokyo. In less than 40 minutes, you can be in Ueno, or Tokyo Skytree. The location is ideal to enjoy some peace and serenity, whilst not being far from the bustling life of Tokyo. Not to mention being able to avoid the huge rent prices of central Tokyo!
