Job Overview:
You will teach small classes up to 8 students mainly from 1 to 19 years old assisted by a native Japanese-speaking instructor on a 2 to 5 days per week schedule (Monday to Friday). Classes usually start in early afternoon and finish in early evening.
2. School locations:
Ideal teachers will be based in Tokyo or neighboring areas with good access to Tokyo, such as Kanagawa, Saitama, and Chiba, willing to commute to different locations.
3. Compensation/Welfare
Each lesson compensation is 3000 yen, transportation is reimbursed additionally.
We offer paid training and partial holiday pay. Long term teachers will be able to work towards benefits which include a variety of bonuses.
4. Responsibility/Duties
Our teachers plan their lessons before coming to class in their own time. They use the material provided by the company and may add their original tools to the lesson. Each class is 50 mins, and after each class, teachers get to talk to parents briefly about the lesson content to build rapport.
5. Requirements/ Skills
Teachers who have an outgoing personality fit very well in our classes. Being creative is also important to give interesting lessons. Experience in teaching young children is a must as most of our students are very young.
PLEASE NOTE: While we do our best to accommodate the training schedules to trainees where possible, you must be available to attend training immediately. You are required to give a 100% commitment to stay with the company at least 1 year.
