Project Based After-school and Preschool （到期)

Global Field Kids is an English-only pre and after-school program providing real English education in Nakano and different schools around the greater Tokyo area. We are a project-based school, focusing on developing social skills, science, math, social studies among others, using English as the main tool.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated teachers to work at our after-school program for young learners!
We have a great work environment and welcome teachers who can work part-time in their spare time or between other work and studies.

【Job Description】
● Planning and conducting lessons based on exploratory learning and an original curriculum.
● Assisting, communicating, and interacting with children in English.
● Outside assignments in different kindergartens in the greater Tokyo area.
● In the future will be responsible for leading a class by themselves.

【Information】

● Part Time
Wages: 1,200 to 1,300 yen per hour (We also cover preparation time)
Working days: 5 days per week on weekdays (some special events during weekends)
Working hours: 13:00 to 19:00
Transportation allowance: Full coverage

● Full Time
Wages: 220,000 yen / month
Working days: 5 days per week on weekdays (some special events during weekends)
Working hours: Between 8:30 am to 20:00 pm (actual working hours will be 8 hours with 1 hour break)

【Requirements】
● Passion for teaching, playing, and communicating with children.
(You will be with students the whole time, so this is a must!)
● Energy and a great smile!
● Creativity to help develop lesson plans and units. (Games, crafts, experiments, and activities.)
● Valid working visa.

It will be a plus if you have:
● Experience teaching at daycare or kindergarten programs.
● Experience teaching young children at English conversation schools or as an ALT.
● License or certification for pre-school, kindergarten, or elementary school from their home country

【School Outline】
Target students: 2 years to 12 years old
Class size: 5 - 15 students (average of 8 students per day)
Opening hours: 8:30 - 20:00 (Monday - Friday)
