■Description
Tierra Com is a nationwide juku (cram school) company looking for a professional and enthusiastic English Instructors to work in our schools.

We are currently offering positions at a school in Komatsu (Ishikawa Prefecture)

The position will involve teaching English to elementary school and junior high school students, using the course material provided.


■Positions Available: Monthly Paid Instructor (5 days / week)
Part-time Instructor (2 days / week)


■Position Starts: as soon as possible


■Work Schedule of Monthly Paid Instructor:

Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Work Hours: Flexible schedule working a total of 40 hours a week between 12:00 and 22;00.
　　　　　　　＊On average 9 hours / day including 1 hour break, 5 days a week

Days off: Wednesday and Sunday



■Work Schedule of Part-time Instructor:

Work Days: Tuesday, Friday
Work Hours: 15:30 to 21:30 (6 hours / day)



■Prospective candidates:

- Are experienced in teaching English.
- Have Japanese conversation ability (required to talk to staff, and parents on the telephone).
- Have an interest in Japanese culture and working with Japanese people.
- Have good communication skills and are eager to learn new things.
- Are active and enthusiastic


■Requirements:

- Native level English
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Be able to work for a minimum of one year
- Teaching experience
- Currently residing in Japan
- CV with photo



■Main duties and responsibilities:

- Teaching students using the company`s curriculum and teaching methodology.
- Teaching English lessons during the week and weekends to elementary and junior high school students.
- Completing and updating daily teaching records
- Helping out with the running or the school (cleaning, greeting the students at the door, preparing materials to be handed out to prospective customers, etc)
- Attending meetings and seminars as required, other activities.

Salary: from JPY 240,000/month (based on experience) + 10 hours paid overtime
