Elementary School ALT Suginami（到期)

S-Link is seeking Native English teachers for part time work in elementary schools in Suginami-ku starting in May and finishing next March when the school year concludes. Working days include Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with Monday as a further option. The number of working days per month are between 13 and 17 days. The schedule for the school year will be set in April and can be based on your requests. This position involves going to a number of different schools, but a staff member will always accompany the teacher on the first day.

Lessons are group lessons taught with a home room teacher. The students are from 1st to 6th grade with the greatest concentration of lessons with the 5th and 6th grade. All lessons are 45 minutes in length. There are a maximum of 6 lessons per day. Teachers arrive at school by 8:30 and depart by 15:30. Lesson plans and materials are all provided in advance. Paid training before the starting day is also included in this contract.

This kind of job works very well for those working evenings or for people who do not want a full time commitment. Teachers who have experience with Elementary age students are a good match for this job. All lesson plans and materials are provided as is training so long experience is not essential.
