Berkeley House Language Center, a leading language school in Japan, is seeking English as a Foreign Language instructors for various teaching positions in Tokyo and other cities in Japan, for positions at corporations, universities, and/or at our schools.

[General Schedule & Conditions]

SCHEDULE:
Teachers work five days a week, with 25 teaching hours per week.
In addition to teaching, instructors write reports, participate in meetings, and so forth.

Five days a week could be Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri, Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat, or Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri/Sat

STUDENTS/CLASSES:
Our students include corporate office workers, professionals, and fulltime students preparing for or attending university. Schedules will typically include a combination of one-to-one, semi-private, and group lessons.

REMUNERATION:
Remuneration depends on the applicant’s qualifications, but begins at 270,000 yen/month with transportation expenses in Japan being reimbursed.

CONTRACT PERIOD:
April 1st 2017 to July 31st, 2017
*Upon successful completion, renewal shall be granted.


Requirements:

1. University degree
2. Experience teaching at high school / college/ university in Japan
3. Friendly/cheerful personality
4. Native speaker of English
5. Team worker
6. Able to speak Japanese
