Preschool and Afternoon Instructor （期限切れ）

Zoo-phonics Academy specializes in teaching English language using a total physical response to teaching English.

Our preschool (children 2-6 years of age) has a strong emphasis on English Language Arts by Zoo-phonics. We also teach Math, Music, Arts and Crafts, Rhythmic, Science, and Physical Education entirely in English.

Our afternoon classes (Children 3-12 years of age) have a strong emphasis on learning to speak English and proper pronunciation using the Zoo-phonics method.

Assistant Teacher

Salary 160 000 to 200 000 (Negotiable based on experience) 160,000 during 90 day orientation period

The assistant teacher position includes caring for students’ age 1 year old to 6 years old during the course of the day, while also assisting the main teacher with classroom preparations and organization. Assistant teachers will be required to assist with toilet training and cleaning of the school as well. Depending on Candidates ability they may be required to teacher afternoon classes and/or lead our after school childcare class.

Main Teacher

Salary 230,000 to 270,000 (Negotiable based on experience) 230,000 during 90 day orientation period

Main teacher position will require the ability to follow a highly academic curriculum while providing a fun and comfortable learning environment. Main teachers will also be required to toilet train, teach manners and other basic skills. Main teachers should have confidence in handling both large and small groups of kids. They will be required to teach both preschool (2 to 6 years of age) and afternoon classes (2 to 12 years of age). Main teachers will also be required to help in the after school childcare program.

Conditions

The successful applicant should be available to start in February or March 2017 for training. Full time start from April is possible, but February start is highly preferred.

Working Day/Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 - 18:00 with up to 3 Saturdays per year
