Part-time English Teacher (expired)

Candidates that pass initial screening will be invited to have two to three Skype interviews where character and aptitude will be evaluated.

On completing the training, you will be assigned to one or more schools in Tokyo where you will teach English classes, predominately to kindergarten students.

Compensation:
3,000 JPY / hour

Working Days & Hours：
Monday to Friday
3-6 hours/day between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM
(detailed work schedule is to be defined upon placement decision)

Start Date：
To be discussed

Holidays：
Sundays and Saturdays (with the exception of school events), national holidays

Paid Holidays：
Spring, Summer and Winter vacation.
Other days off in accordance with the assigned school's calendar

Classroom Description/ Student Age:
Toddlers (3 years old)
Children / Preteen (4-12 years old)
Up to 20 students in the class.

Job Description：
Teaching English using a designed learning program in the assigned kindergarten(s). Daily duties include leading 40min lessons and participating in other school activities.

Requirements：
Educational Background:
Bachelor Degree or above

Teaching certificate:
Preferred, but not required for native English speakers

Japanese language skills:
Basic conversational skills (N4 level or above) are strongly preferred

Visa sponsorship：
Available for current visa holders

Interview method：
Interview by Skype or in person for applicants residing in Japan
