English Teacher, Care Taker (Part-time) (expired)

Position/duties: Teaching English at kindergarten, regular classes and Saturday immersion class, developing curricula and educational materials, attending meetings, make class-reports, and participating in cultural events or inter-cultural exchange program.

Special skills/requirements: Native English speakers. Some understanding of Japanese and TESL/ESL certification preferred. Interests in working with children. Ability to work independently with cooperation with staff. Class-organizing skill. Good singing voice. Outgoing and friendly personality.

Applicants must currently reside in Japan.

Hours and days: Follow the school calendar organized by the school

Salary: excluding the travel allowance
1) KEC Regular lesson: 3,000- 3,500 yen/hour for teaching depending on teaching experience, qualification and the performance evaluation.
2) KEC Saturday Class: 12,000 yen per day (9:00-15:00)
+ Meeting 1-2 hrs.(until 17:00)
3) Meeting: 1,000 yen/hour

University degree(s) REQUIRED(please indicate all): BA

Subject/specialization : TESOL, Education or Early Child Education is preferred

Experience required (years/level/in-Japan/etc.): Teaching experience to young children (kinder, elementary school children) is required. Good singing voice is preferred.
