International Preschool Teacher - Nagoya City, Aichi (expired)

Kakuozan International Preschool has a full-time position available from April 2019 for a reliable, energetic teacher who loves children and is genuinely interested in teaching.

A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related degree and experience teaching in an international preschool setting are highly desirable, but enthusiasm and a love for children are paramount.

The (team) teaching part of the day amounts to approximately four and a half hours. Lunch, park and free-play times are also spent with children. Advanced-level (elementary) small group classes will comprise the rest of teaching and preparation responsibilities. Sufficient preparation and break times are given.

Desired qualities for the successful candidate:
- a team player, who is enjoyable to be around;
- able to run a class of 15-18 young children with co-teacher
- able to plan classes based on curriculum
- acutely aware of environmental dangers and risks to children; i.e. at park, during free play, meal time, etc.
- happy to be around young learners and excited about helping them learn and grow.
- able to connect with kids and have trained yourself to be an organized, effective teacher.
- organizational skills and creativity are essential.

Monday to Friday - Preschool course
Working Hours are Monday through Friday,8 hours per day. Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays are off with the exception of Sports Day, Christmas Concert, Sleep Over and Graduation.

Compensation:
* Salary : 280,000
* Transportation allowance.
* Company-sponsored insurance (Shakaihoken) available
* Approximately 5 weeks of paid holidays per year
* Paid sick leave after six months (increasing annually)
* Potential for visa sponsorship/renewal.
