Maxwell English School seeks a full time instructor for a full range of ESL classes from December or January 2018. There are currently about 700 students among 5 schools in Hiratsuka, Hadano, Ninomiya and Odawara. The school is currently experiencing growth in student numbers. While a new school is planned, an extra teacher for existing schools is sought. Class sizes are 1-7 students. Instructors usually teach 20-25 contact hours per week with minimal other duties. As well as the 270,000-290,000 yen base pay, a separate bonus system is offered. The successful candidate may select their base school but will likely be dispatched on certain days by company car to corporate lessons and other schools in the chain. So he/she should have a Japanese/international driver license. Company vehicles may be taken home and used privately as a tax free benefit. Candidates prepared to live locally will be preferred.
