Apple Seed Academy is looking for part-time English teachers who are available to begin immediately. Applicants must currently reside in Japan, be able to work for at least one year, and be able to commute to Ashiya, Hyogo prefecture (Apple Seed is accessible from JR Ashiya Station, Hanshin Ashiya Station, and Hankyu Ashiyagawa Station). Students' ages mostly range from preschool to older elementary school and levels range from absolute beginners to experienced English speakers.
Hourly Wage: 2,000 yen + transportation expenses.
Applicants must be available to work on Saturdays.
Must be comfortable working with children, interested in English education, and motivated to work hard in a professional environment.
Native-level English is required and conversational Japanese (or better) is a plus.
