Description

Part-Time English Language Teaching Positions for Summer Intensive Programs (July/August)

Nagoya YMCA Locations:
・Ikeshita (Haruoka): Haruoka 1-2- 7 Chikusa-ku Nagoya                   

・Nanzan Family YMCA: 14 Minamiyama-cho, Shouwa-ku Nagoya

・Kamisawa Family YMCA: 2-831 Kamisawa, Midori-ku, Nagoya

Student:
Kindergarten: 4 - 6 year old, Elementary School Grade 1 – Grade 6

Contract Term:
①July 24-July 28、②July 31-August 4, ③August 7-August 10

Work Hours & Salary:
9:20-16:00 / ¥15,000-¥17,200 and transportation allowance per lesson

*Teachers are required to arrive early enough to prepare for the class and stay for extra 10-15 minutes to interact with parents and tidy up the classroom.

*The maximum number of students per class is 12.

Responsibilities include the following:

・Conduct engaging, enjoyable, and educational English language class based on our teaching curriculum and additional instruction to help nurture the potential of every student through the language education (Teaching contents may include phonics, grammar, listening, reading, speaking, pronunciation, theme study, crafts, art, and P.E.)

・Ensure the English only policy is followed all the time

・Set up your classroom before your students arrive and tidy up classrooms after class

・Ensure safety of our students during the class, activities, and break time through adequate supervision

・Explain your class contents briefly to the parents after every class with the help from YMCA staff

*Only the candidates selected by screening through resume will be contacted and invited for an interview and demonstration lesson with a YMCA teacher and staff.
