We are looking for a native English speaker to teach English as a second language. The job primarily involves teaching young children (max. 8 per class) and adults (max. 6 per class). Ideally, the applicant should have experience in teaching children of all ages and the ability to hold casual conversations in Japanese. The position is a two-year contract. Training starts immediately. The main responsibilities of the position are detailed as follows:
Tuesday - Saturday : Obligated to a maximum of 40 hours per week
Teaching hours per week : 27 hours
Number of work days in the year: 240
Salary: From ¥250,000
Preparing class materials
Maintaining class records
Coordinating classes with Japanese staff and management
Attending PLS training seminars (total three times)
Maintaining an orderly work-space
Attend certain special school events on some weekends
