Description

Berkeley House Language Center prides itself on being one of Japan’s premier language schools. We provide foreign language education to a large number of Japanese corporations, government agencies, schools, universities and private individuals.

We are currently seeking experienced Business English instructors, with an extensive background in both teaching and business, to conduct courses to strengthen practical English communication skills of business professionals.

Requirement:
 Minimum of 3 years ESL teaching experience
 Minimum of 3 years business English teaching experience
 University degree
 Native English speaker
 Some understanding of Japanese
 Currently reside in Japan
 Valid Work Visa
 Attend orientation in Ichigaya prior to assignment start date

Preference
 Teaching certificate preferred (CELTA, TESOL, etc.)

Location:
Berkeley House Language Center - Ichigaya, Tokyo
Our clients' venues in Tokyo/Saitam/Kanagawa/Chiba area

Schedule Examples:
Wednesdays 19:30 ~ 21:00 & Saturdays 9:00 ~ 10:30

Class Format:
Private and/or Group

Class Objective:
 Develop information gathering skills during business meetings
 Develop negotiation skills in a business context
 Develop presentation skills

Salary:
Ranges from 3,000 yen to 5,000 yen per hour.
Depends on experience/ability of the teacher and specification of class
Transportation fees fully reimbursed.

Seasonal events are planned for instructors to promote communication and socialization.
