Osaka Public High School T-NET Part Time English Assistant Language Teacher Positions

These openings are for part-time position as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) from May 26th, 2017.

The placement will be in High Schools where the ALT will assist as a team teacher and help plan English lessons under a schedule created by GLAD and the Board of Education. As well as teaching English lessons, you may also be asked to participate in other school activities such as clubs, cleaning of the school and cultural festivals.

Position Requirements:
・Must be currently living in Japan.
・Must be a native speaker of English, or have acquired an education in English for at least 12 years.
・Must have completed a 4 year University Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in English speaking countries.
・Must have a strong interest in Japanese culture and language and be able to connect with Japanese people.
・Must have a valid visa status that allows you to live and work in Japan (Visa renewal available).

Conditions:
・Daily base salary is 9,000 yen per day
・Monday to Friday, approximately 6 hours per day
・Transportation costs will be covered at a certain rate per day
・Days off include weekends, National Holidays, and other holidays set on the Board of Education’s school calendar.
