Project Manager
Language On Demand, Inc.

Primary Location: Tokyo, Japan
Schedule: Full Time; 40 hours per week + Overtime as needed
Travel Required: As needed (domestic and/or international)

Description:
Language On Demand (LOD) is seeking a Project Manager to support the headquarters with all contracts in Japan. We seek a person who can work as a team and contributes his or her unique talents to his or her workplace. LOD is a government contracting company focusing on providing language services to government entities as well as private sectors. Our headquarters is located in Annandale, VA (USA).

Daily Duties:
• Manage and maintain key internal and external relationships with customers/students/instructors/LOD staff
• Manage the development of project plans such as creating timelines of expected turnaround times, submission dates, and deadlines
• Overall project organization to coordinate day to day activities including language instruction and culture training
• Assess project issues based on customer/student/instructor/LOD staff feedback related to possible gaps, errors, and develop resolutions to meet quality and team goals and objectives
• Perform quality control over each and every project and ensure projects are submitted on time and within budget
• Recruit Japanese language instructors and culture trainers Japan wide
• Meet with U.S. government officials at U.S. bases or contracting offices
• Respond to inquiries made by clients in a timely and professional manner with up-to-date information at all times
• Manage reports to ensure the company meets the U.S. Government’s compliance requirements
• Collect and analyze internal data to prepare reports for the U.S. Government
• Learn and understand U.S. Federal contracts

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
• 2+ years of related experience
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, presentation, and technical communication skills in both Japanese and English
• Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work under deadlines, and juggle multiple tasks/assignments
• High level of motivation and initiative
• Ability to work as a team
• Fluency in Japanese and English
