Description

Private school in central Tokyo is looking for native English speakers to provide instruction for their ES, JHS, and HS grade levels for the 2017-2018 academic year. The lesson load can be spread over 3-5 days; hours can be arranged in half or full days, depending on the mutual needs of the school and teacher. Visa sponsorship available.

Qualified teachers MUST:

a. Have pertinent teaching experience in providing English instruction in the grade level(s) requested.
b. Be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
c. Hold a sincere desire to teach and maintain quality standards of instruction.
d. Respect the ethical codes and policies of the school & classroom.
e. Provide instruction within the established guidelines of the school.
f. Be adept at classroom management and discipline strategies.

Initial interviews to take place at our Shinjuku office during weekday hours; qualified applicants will be contacted/scheduled for interview until all positions are filled. One-year renewable contract to start April 1, 2017.
