Located in Gubei - Shanghai China, Green Gardens Prep GGP is a state of the art child and adolescent to adult cultural English learning center housed in purpose-designed classrooms. Our center's programs cater to individuals between the ages of 3.5 years and 12 years of age.

TEACHER EXPECTATIONS
25-30 classroom teaching hours per week (including preparation/review)
Instruct students on interpreting letters, sounds and basic phonics skills
Use GGP resources and curriculum to teach Phonological awareness: Sound-Spelling, Maintenance blending, Words within sentences, Rhyming units within words, Beginning and ending sounds, Syllables within words, Biological phoneme features: How the mouth, tongue, vocal cords, and teeth work together to produce sound .
Use GGP resources and curriculum to scaffold students through an inquiry process from basic understanding to critical analyses of texts. Use skill ladders connected to individual readings in short stories and nonfiction to move students from lower order, concrete thinking skills to higher order, critical thinking skills in areas of language arts standards such as sequencing, cause and effect, classification, making generalizations, inference, and recognizing themes and concepts.
Use SMARTboard interactive whiteboards in all classroom instruction.
Assign, collect and grade/correct student work.
Assess student development and maintain class records
WORKING HOURS:
Working hours start from early afternoons and end in the early evenings.
Working days include Saturday - Wednesday. Days off are Thursday and Friday.
Not to exceed 40 working hours per week.
6 weeks PAID HOLIDAY per contract year.
Housing and Plane ticket allowance provided.
International Health insurance provided.
