Jetstar Japan is part of the Jetstar Group, a network of low fares airlines that focuses on leisure markets.
Based in Tokyo, Jetstar Japan's first domestic flight took off on 3 July 2012. Short haul international services are expected to commence in 2013.
Fleet and Network
Jetstar Japan flies to five major Japanese cities: Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, Fukuoka and Okinawa.
These flights will be serviced by an initial fleet of three new A320 aircraft (configured for 180 passengers in a single class), growing steadily to 24 aircraft within the first few years.
