Musashi International School Tokyo is looking for enthusiastic and experienced individuals for the positions of Middle School English / Social studies. Our school is currently expanding and we need qualified teachers to grow along with us.
Candidates must be fluent English speakers. Applicants should have a background in the subject matter and teaching experience in a school setting. Preference will be given to teachers currently in Japan with more than three years of experience. Japanese language ability is not a requirement.
As a teacher, you would be working within a dynamic team, educating a class of international and internationally-minded students in Tokyo. We teach a comprehensive curriculum in our Cambridge registered School. There are also opportunities to work with students of all ages and abilities in our after-school classes.

POSITION DETAILS
General duties:
-Full-time teaching load
-Daily homeroom duties and Weekly lunch supervision
-Attendance at field trips (including overnight) throughout the year.
Expected Initial Teaching Load:
-English classes for Years 7 to 9 for ESL learners (some ages combined)
-Global Perspectives classes for Years 7 to 9 (some ages combined)
-Once-weekly guidance classes (Leadership, Careers and Wellbeing) for Years 10 to 13
Education and Work experience requirements:
-Should be experienced in teaching English to native and ESL students to Middle School students.
-Teaching experience or training in social studies is preferred but not required.
Working Hours:
-Monday to Friday
-8:00-16:30(40hours per week)
