Global Schools Foundation which operates schools in 10 countries is expanding rapidly in Japan. Apart from Tokyo new schools are coming up in cities like Osaka and Tsukuba. The new K-12 schools which are coming up are either old Government school buildings or private commercial buildings. The interiors and exteriors of these buildings have to be completely modified as per the brand design. As the construction lead in Japan the Asst PM will be responsible for below areas. Japanese language skills are highly preferred.

Demonstrating knowledge of all areas of construction and Building regulations
Understanding what the company wants to achieve
Agreeing timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver a project
Drawing up a detailed plan for how to achieve each stage of a project
Negotiating with contractors and suppliers
Overseeing several projects at the same time
Ensuring that each stage of the project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard
Reporting regularly on progress to the HO and stakeholders
Resolving any issues or delays
Working in an office or on a construction site.
