The Nagoya Branch of Interac Kansai & South Central Company is seeking applications for elementary, junior high, and senior high school Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) positions in the Aichi area starting in Spring 2023 and later
ALTs are the face of the global community in Japanese schools and have an important role in helping and supporting students to broaden their horizons and develop international understanding. ALTs are also role models in the wider school community. If you are a committed teacher with a strong drive to help students achieve their goals, a position with Interac may be for you.
As an ALT with Nagoya Branch, you will teach in public elementary, junior high, and/or senior high schools and become an essential part of your school and the local community. Your job as an ALT is two-fold: language instructor and cultural ambassador. We are looking for candidates who are positive, professional, and have a love of international communication.

★ You must have graduated from a university with at least a bachelor's degree
★ You must be professional and mature in all aspects of behavior
★ You must be a team-player, flexible, cheerful, and energetic
★ You must have a valid Japanese work visa
Visa sponsorship may be available for qualified candidates.
Interac has a paid, comprehensive initial and ongoing training program to support and develop all ALTs.
In these positions, the ALT will generally work between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday through Friday.
Salary ranges between 2,400,000 and 3,000,000 Japanese Yen per year depending on the position requirements. Full-time ALTs receive a generous holiday entitlement in line with school vacations throughout the year.
Transportation is fully compensated.
Founded in 1972, Interac is Japan’s largest private provider of professional foreign teachers to the Japanese government through its ALT program. Interac began as a provider of corporate educational services but from the mid-nineties, we began providing ALTs and education-related services to Boards of Education across Japan. In April 2014, Interac became part of the Link and Motivation Group which has a range of interests and subsidiaries in the business consultancy, education, recruiting, and hospitality sectors in Japan.
