STJ is the worlds leading independent advisor for capital markets - in particular equity capital markets. We also carry out investor relations and associated work. In Japan we have recently established a KK and we are looking for our first full time employee to work with the Representative Director.
Our clients include some of the largest and most successful businesses and business owners (such as Private Equity or "Sponsors"), and we are engaged on projects with a total value of several hundred billion yen.
You will be expected to analyse information and produce reports based on information supplied by our clients, augmented by Japanese information sources such as Bloomberg, the Tokyo Stock Exchange and online databases. These reports will mainly be in English though the ability to produce Japanese documents will also be required.
There is support available from other offices in Hong Kong, India (in the same time zone) and the UK in the evenings.
You will also have to do much of the basic work in an office including scheduling meetings and occasionally booking travel.
