Hiring: English Teacher

Our school provides both Preschool and After-School classes, offering an immersive English environment for children. We are looking for full-time English teachers who are enthusiastic about teaching and dedicated to developing class curriculums to ensure that children can spend their time comfortably in a fully English-speaking setting during after-school classes.

About the Location
Aomori City is a peaceful and relaxed area compared to busier capital regions. The locals are friendly, and life here is calm and enjoyable. Aomori boasts beautiful seasons, including cherry blossoms in spring, cooler and drier summers, stunning autumn foliage, and snowy winters. You can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities throughout the year. Additionally, the cost of living, including food and housing, is more affordable compared to metropolitan areas.

Job Details

Requirements:
- Native English speaker or highly proficient in English
- Teaching experience in English
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Patient, friendly, and adaptable
- Understanding of young learners’ needs

Employment Details:
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day + 1-hour break
- Salary: ¥200,000–¥270,000 (based on skills and experience)
- 50% support for apartment rent (the apartment is located just a 2-minute walk from the workplace)

Days Off:
- Saturdays, Sundays, and Japanese national holidays
- 10+ paid vacation days after six months

Location:
Aomori City (near Yamada High School)
- Close to four shopping markets
- Assistance provided to find nearby housing

Responsibilities
- Lead after-school classes for kindergarten and elementary school children (ages 3–15)
- Create engaging lesson plans with fun activities and speaking exercises
- Manage classrooms (solo teaching)
- Prepare snacks for children
- Accompany children on field trips
- Clean classrooms
- Support school operations (e.g., school bus chaperoning, running errands)

Daily Activities Include:
- Snack time, Circle time, Lesson time
- Beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes (textbooks, games, and curriculum-based)
- Leading fun and interactive activities
