Welcome to Blossoms International School!

We have an exciting opening for a full-time Lead Teacher at our International School located in the heart of Tokyo, just a few minutes walk away from Tsukishima Station. We offer competitive salaries and social, health & employment insurance for full-time staff.

The successful applicant should have a wealth of experience and a proven track record working as a lead/head teacher in an international school environment. They should have exemplary time management, communication and leadership skills. The candidate should be confident, professional, resiliant and have the utmost integrity.

The successful candidate will be a preschool homeroom teacher during our Morning School Program Monday-Friday (age group 2-5 years old), and will also teach during our after-school program, Monday-Friday and on 1 Saturday/month (age group 3-12yo of various levels - beginner to advanced). All teachers at Blossoms are responsible for managing their classroom, creating lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum and preparing termly progress reports for each student. They are responsible for the complete academic and social development of their students and thus need to be experienced, responsible and professional. Candidates must be passionate, caring, active and full of energy. Above all, we expect candidates to have a genuine passion for teaching and we expect all teachers to do their utmost to create an environment that enables students to grow, excel and shine.

In addition to teaching duties, the lead teacher will also be responsible for supporting and working with our teachers/staff and management team to ensure that our school provides the best possible environment for our students to thrive in.

-Monthly salary (as mentioned in the details section) + insurances. If you are a licensed and experienced teacher your starting salary will be higher. We also offer a performance-based bonus for outstanding achievements.

-Start Date: Immediately (actual starting date will depend on the candidate's experience/ability, onboarding duration and/or need for training).
