About Us:
MUSASHI Japan is proud to be one of Tokyo’s top three high-end Japanese knife brands, with over 50,000 loyal fans worldwide. With locations in Asakusa, Kyoto, and Tsushima, we specialize in handcrafting high-quality Japanese knives that beautifully blend heritage with modern design.

Inspired by the legacy of the legendary samurai Miyamoto Musashi, our mission is to share the beauty of Japanese culture with the world. Several of our stores feature locally sourced Japanese sake and artisanal pieces from talented artists across the country, further enriching the customer experience.

Available Positions:
We are currently hiring 3-4 part-time associates for our office, conveniently located next to Kuramae Station. We hope to hire for our Branding/Graphic Design Division, Product Division, and CRM Division.

Key Responsibilities:
While tasks will vary depending on the division, general responsibilities for office hires include
- Support customer inquiries and provide general customer support to enhance customer success
- Assist in creating marketing graphics, website banners, newsletters, and promotional materials
- Help with international shipping logistics and facilitate the transfer of products from the office to the store
- Package and prepare boxes for shipping
- Perform general office tasks as needed

Qualifications:
We hope to find people with some of the following skillsets. Depending on your experience and background, we'll decide which division to place you in.
- Background in customer support, sales, or customer facing roles
- Proficiency in Illustrator; familiarity with Figma and Photoshop is a plus
- Knowledge of marketing and product design is beneficial
- Looking for candidates who are proficient in English, Japanese, or German
- Available to work 4-5 days a week

What We Offer:
- Trial Period: Successful candidates will be invited for a trial at our office to assess fit and performance
- Training Period: If you pass the trial, the hourly wage during training is 1,200 Yen. Training duration depends on your learning pace, with fast learners typically completing it in 2 weeks
- Base Salary: After training, hourly wages range from 1,300 to 1,500 Yen, based on your efforts and overall contribution
- Long-Term Benefits: After 6 months, we can offer full-time employment and visa sponsorship to high performers
- Growth Opportunities: With plans to expand our team to over 100 individuals next year and open 2-4 new stores annually, there are ample opportunities for career growth. We also aim to explore new ventures such as Japanese sake bars and hotels
