Full Time English Teacher - Fukuoka（期限切れ）

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced ESL teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will teach English to adult learners in small group settings via our virtual platform. Your responsibilities will include delivering engaging and interactive lessons tailored to the diverse needs of our students. You will also collaborate with fellow educators to develop new courses and materials, from daily conversation classes to university preparatory courses, contributing to the growth and enhancement of our services.


Requirements:

・Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, English, or a related field
・TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent ESL teaching certification
・Minimum of 3 years of ESL teaching experience with adult learners
・Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an English-speaking environment
・Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate adult learners
・Proficiency in using virtual teaching platforms and technology
・Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment


Key Responsibilities:

・Conduct virtual ESL lessons for adult learners in small group settings (typically 5 students per class)
・Develop and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each group
・Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance the learning experience and accommodate different learning styles
・Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their English proficiency
・Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with students about their development
・Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence
・Collaborate with the curriculum team to ensure lesson content aligns with overall learning objectives
・Stay updated on the latest ESL teaching methods and online education trends


Location: "Tabiken Study Abroad" office in Fukuoka


Working Hours & Salary:

・Full-time (contract employees, full-time employees, or contractors)
・Monthly salary: ¥250,000 - ¥500,000, including fixed overtime pay of ¥33,700 - ¥65,000 (equivalent to 20 hours per month). Overtime exceeding 20 hours will be paid additionally.
・5 days a week / Fixed weekday schedule (must work on either Saturday or Sunday)
・8-hour workday + 1-hour break between 12:30 PM and 9:30 PM
