Osaka Private School Teacher *Part-Time* (November Start!)（期限切れ）

Brain Power is looking for talented instructor to fill a part-time position in a private school 30 minutes from Osaka (Umeda) station. If you are a skilled English teacher with who is fun, energetic and enjoys giving students an engaging experience communicating in English in and out of the classroom, we'd love to have a chance to work together!

■ POSITION DETAILS

・Position term November 2024 - March 2025
・Monday through Friday (part-time)
・Approximately 18 lessons per week
・Solo teaching (up to 33 student classes)
・Elementary school only
・Transportation allowance provided

■ BRAIN POWER SUPPORT

・Paid Training: Paid training is provided before your first day at school, as is follow-up training.
・Visa Sponsorship: Brain Power provides all of our employees with the necessary documents to renew their visas. (only available to Japanese residents with currently valid working visas)
・Transportation: Transportation allowance will be provided.
・Daily Life Support: Our staff is ready to help with anything from work-related problems to daily life support.

■ QUALIFICATIONS

・Able to create full lesson plans and create materials on-site (worksheets, flashcards, etc.)
・Friendly and easy to approach
・Self-motivated and active in engaging the students inside and outside the classroom
・Polite, flexible, and helpful to coworkers
・Enjoys spending their free time interacting with students (eating lunch with students, visiting the school clubs, etc.)
・High communication skills (can communicate effectively with school teachers and office staff)
・Has experience implementing songs / TPR in their lessons
・Japanese conversational skills are required for teacher meetings at the schools
・An affinity with modern Japanese youth culture
・Experience as a home room teacher (preferred)
・Experience teaching other subjects in English (preferred)
