Duties:
1. Learn and develop essential bartending skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.
a. Receive comprehensive training on various bartending techniques, including mixing, pouring, and garnishing.
b. Gain knowledge of different types of spirits, wines, and beers, as well as their proper serving methods.
c. Familiarize yourself with bar tools and equipment, learning how to use them effectively and safely.
d. Practice and refine your skills through hands-on experience and constructive feedback from mentors.
2. Assist in the preparation and serving of beverages, gradually gaining proficiency and speed.
a. Support the bartending team in preparing ingredients, garnishes, and glassware for drink service.
b. Learn to follow recipes accurately to ensure consistent and high-quality drink preparations.
c. Observe and learn how to handle customer requests and special orders efficiently and courteously.
d. Over time, develop the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks during busy service periods.
3. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring their satisfaction.
a. Learn to greet customers warmly, make them feel welcome, and establish a positive rapport.
b. Observe experienced bartenders in effectively communicating with guests to understand their preferences.
c. Practice active listening and attentiveness to accurately take and fulfill drink orders.
d. Receive guidance on handling customer inquiries, resolving concerns, and maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
4.Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and organized bar area, restocking supplies, and following standard operating procedures.
a. Assist in keeping the bar area clean and organized, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
b. Learn proper inventory management techniques, such as monitoring stock levels and rotating perishable items.
c. Work with team members to restock bar supplies, including beverages, mixers, and utensils, as needed.
d. Understand and follow standard operating procedures for opening, closing, and ongoing bar operations.
