Become a Ramen Chef and Teacher!

Baba Ramen is a start-up cooking school where we teach people how to make ramen! We currently teach from 2 locations, one in Meguro and other being in Roppongi and will be opening a brand new, larger school, in the first quarter of next year.

We aren't like other cooking classes. Our classes are very hands-on / intensive, and the school is being designed in a way where people can experience what it's like to be a chef and working on the line.

All training will be provided in the sense that we will send you to an intensive ramen school for 2 weeks (5 days a week) so you’ll have some general knowledge of ramen making and then of course, shadowing and aiding for a while, before undertaking more responsibilities yourself.

We are open minded in terms of applicants, the main 2 attributes would be that applicants need to be fluent in English and have some level of Japanese and have a passion for cooking! You do not need to be a chef for this role.

This can be a flexible position, typically working hours would be 7:30am until around 2pm if it's the morning classes, evening classes would be more 4:30pm until around 11pm. Can be part or full time as well, depending on the applicant's needs and ability to work.

Compensation:
288,000 - 320,000 yen a month or 1,800 - 2,000 yen an hour
(with growth for more as things progress and more responsibilities are undertaken).

Requirements:
- Have a love for cooking
- No experience required but an interest in making ramen

Location:
Main school is located in Meguro
