An exciting opportunity at a growing Preschool has just opened up!
Harbourfront International School has an immediate opening for Full-Time Instructors within our Preschool.

Harbourfront International School established its Preschool in Honmachi, Osaka in October 2022. The school provides children with various hands-on experiences through a curriculum that is based on active learning.

As the number of students at our school are rapidly growing, we are currently seeking for a friendly, enthusiastic, professionally minded native-English speaking instructor, who is motivated and fun. Applicants should be organized and responsible, experienced in working in a team environment, open to challenges and invested in the development of the students. They should have a passion for the education of children and the learning of English as a second language in the immersion English program.

Harbourfront International School is only a 3 minute walk from Honmachi Station, instructors work 8 hour days on a Monday to Friday work week, with Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays off. Each staff member receives a 1 hour lunch break. With approximately 125 days off throughout the year (with holiday periods at Golden Week and Christmas/New Year) to create a healthy work-life balance, we are looking for a new member for our growing team. Nursery Instructor [students ages between 1 - 5]

[Job Description]
-General class instructor responsibilities
-Creation of a safe, engaging and supportive English learning environment Creation and implementation of lessons
-Engagement and support of Parents/Caregivers
-Event creation, planning and implementation
-Understanding and implementation of childcare that supports the ongoing development and needs of all children in their care
-Programming class, Physical Education class teaching experiences are welcome

[Job requirements]
-Must currently reside in Japan
-Teaching qualifications highly regarded but not essential
-Visa sponsorship is available [however a University degree is necessary for this purpose]

[Salary]
-Full-time staff - Monthly salary between ¥240,000 to ¥300,000 [dependent on experience]
