Primary School Homeroom Teacher（期限切れ）

A very warm welcome to Abroad International School Osaka. We provide an English-based comprehensive education. We are an IB world school and offering the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP). We maintain a low student to teacher ratio allowing for strong student-teacher relationships and a variety of extra-curricular activities.

The Nursery (Age 1-3) and Early Learning Centre (ELC) (Age 3-5) sections are for early learners. We recognize all children are entitled to the best start in life and support to achieve their potential. A child’s experience has a vital impact on his/her future life chances, so we do our best to provide them with a safe, happy, and secure learning environment.

At Primary and Middle School, we aim to make children confident and independent learners. We provide many opportunities for students to demonstrate what they have learned. Learning at AIS is inquiry-based, where students are encouraged to identify pertinent questions and construct well-informed answers.

Starting date: 2024 August
Salary: 290,000 - 350,000 Yen for Primary School Teachers

Preferred qualifications and desirable qualities for Primary School Homeroom Teacher:
-Teaching degree or certificate for Primary School. IB PYP teachers will be given priority.
-Candidate must be a Native-Level English Speaker
-Can plan, develop, and implement curriculum for Primary School students.
-Two or more years of teaching experience is highly preferred.
-Flexible, creative, and open-minded personality.
-Must be able to work well within a team.
-Should be well-organized and have a professional manner.
