SAT Instructor（期限切れ）

AGOS Japan is looking for part-time SAT Instructors for both the Verbal and Math sections (candidates with the ability to teach both Verbal and Math are highly preferred, but relevant experience in at least one is required). You will provide both group lessons, and one-on-one tutoring to students aspiring to enter top universities in the U.S. and throughout the world.

Responsibilities:

1) Prepare and teach high-quality lessons using the provided curriculum and materials
2) Assist in the development and revision of existing materials
3) Provide personalized instruction to students from a wide variety of backgrounds and skill levels
4) Provide students with general assistance in their college search and application processes

Necessary Qualifications:

1) Bachelor's degree or higher
2) 2+ years of experience teaching SAT prep (or teaching relevant subjects at the high-school level or higher)
3) A friendly, courteous, and professional manner in interactions with students and colleagues
4) Ability to relate to students and pace lessons to their abilities
5) Willingness to commute to our Shibuya office for some lessons
6) Willingness to teach some lessons remotely via Zoom

Preferred Qualifications:

1) Master's degree
2) Proof of exceptional SAT scores and/or willingness to retake the test
3) Some Japanese language ability
